Product FAQs

How to apply contact lenses?

Please see the instructional video here.

How to care for contact lenses?

Please read more on this page.

Why is the actual color different from that on the website?

The color of the lenses may appear different due to various factors like lighting, camera lens filters, surrounding colors, and the original eye color, eye shape, or makeup. These variations should be considered acceptable.

What to do when lenses irritate the eyes?

Please soak your lenses in a contact lens care solution for 24 hours, then rinse and gently scrub them.

Check both sides of the lenses before wearing them to avoid discomfort, such as irritation, dry eyes, and blurry vision.

Will wearing colored contacts affect my vision?

Typically, colored contacts do not affect your vision. However, there may be instances where the colored part of the lens shifts over your pupil, causing temporary blurriness. To prevent this, consider lenses with a larger optical zone (the clear center hole) or those where the colored part doesn't extend too far into the center. The exception is costume lenses with a grid or mesh design, which cover the pupil and will obscure your vision.

Who can or can't wear color contact lenses?

Unfortunately, colored contact lenses are not suitable for everyone. For example, if you suffer from dry eye syndrome, contacts may not be ideal for you. Those who are severely nearsighted may struggle to find contact lenses with a strong enough prescription to fully correct their vision.

Additionally, some individuals are allergic to the contact cleaning solution or even the lenses themselves. Since daily cleaning of contact lenses is crucial for eye health, an allergy to the cleaning solution poses a significant issue.

Some doctors recommend that diabetic patients avoid contact lenses because they may be more prone to infections and have more difficulty recovering from them. Children’s eyes are particularly sensitive and fragile, and wearing contacts at a young age could cause eye damage.

People with the following conditions should not wear colored contact lenses, as these eye issues may be further irritated by lens use:

  • Any eye infections (such as conjunctivitis)
  • Any corneal conditions (such as keratitis)
  • Any allergic eye conditions (such as hay fever)
  • Any chronic disease of the eye (such as glaucoma)

Please consult your eye care professional to determine if you are eligible for colored contact lenses.

Should we put in contacts before or after the makeup application?

Put your contacts in before applying your makeup. This way, you avoid the risk of getting makeup particles on them. If you apply makeup first and then put in your contacts, you risk not only messing up your makeup but also accidentally getting chemicals on your lenses, causing further irritation. If you use any kind of sprays, they can get on your contact lenses. Close your eyes (and even cover them with one hand) during and after application, as spray particles linger in the air.

What should we do if contact lenses stick together?

Before attempting to unstuck your contact lenses, place the lens in the palm of your hand and thoroughly soak it with an approved contact lens solution. Gently roll the lens back and forth with your index finger. If gently rubbing does not separate the lens edges, soak it in the solution until it returns to its normal shape.
